When i saw the price for this cpu i could not believe it.This cpu has two cores that both run at 3.4Ghz and let you multitask without any problem.If you are a pc gamer that is currently using a single core processor and upgrade to this one you will see a HUGE boost in performance.Even the best single core cpu will not cut it when it comes to some of the demanding games out there now and if you are looking forward to next gen pc games such as Bioshock you will need a Dual core cpu such as this one to play it without a drop in quality.Before i grabbed this processor i had a single core 3.3Ghz cpu that worked well for me playing most of my games but after i upgraded to this powerhouse i saw Framerates go higher than ever before!When i look at my pc hardware menu it shows that i have 2 3.4Ghz cpu's working together-thats the power of Dual core!You can download games,videos and music in the background while you play your pc game and you still wont see any slowdown!I love this processor.This cpu is dual core at a single core price.Get it!You will wonder how you ever got along with just a single core.
