Product Description

This set contains the base plate, three coupling pieces with ?" thread and a carrying strap. With the strap fitted to Mini Connect, the camera may be carried in such a manner that it is possible to change films without moving the camera. Only one strap is necessary to carry the complete outfit. This eliminates the need to fit a strap to the camera itself, which is a particular benefit when changing from carrying the camera to mounting it on a tripod.

If you, like me, are at all clumsy with little fingertip feel,
this quick release adapter will change your photographic life.
I use it on a Velbon 347 (which is wonderfully light and compact)
with a Fujifilm F30. The camera is removed easily with
one hand. It always attaches quickly and securely, so there is
no reluctance about switching between tripod and hand-held.
I have considered trying the smaller Novoflex round adapter,
which requires manually securing the camera,
while this rectangular release automagically latches the camera in place.
It does look absurdly large under the F30, though..

I also use it for a Canon 20D with battery grip, L frame and heavy
L zoom lenses. It gives no sense of insecurity...
