Good deal, with a few issues.......2007-04-24
Once I got this working I noticed a big difference in the graphics quality of my latest game (Lord Of The Rings Online). However, I did have some issues after initially installing the card. I installed the drivers that came with the card, and all seemed well until I exited my game and whenever I tried to get back in I would get an error stating something about another application already running full screen, and the game would not start. I then downloaded the latest drivers from ATI, but that caused me to get blue screens of death with an error stating one of the ati drivers was in an infinite loop whenever I exited my game. I searched the internet and there were all sorts of suggestions but no definite fixes. I finally installed another gigabyte of RAM, and went back to the drivers that came with the card. All seems well at this point.
FYI- be sure that you read the part where the card requires at least a 420 Watt power supply. I only had a 350 Watt, so I had to upgrade that also.

Installed on Vista without the disk that came with it! Went from a 3.0 graphics rating to a 4.5! Amazing difference it made.
Better than My CPU.......2007-03-27
I still run the AMD K8 CPU and I changed to this card from a GeForce 6800 with no gaming improvement. 3200 memory and 2.5 GHZ CPU are choaking this card off. Guess it's time to get a dual core. Great card! Good specs for $140!
