As I type this, I have a flash drive hooked up to it off of a USB port behind my computer tower. The best $7 with shipping I have spent in a long time. Definitely saves me the headache of having to reach around through a rats nest of wires to plug in my flash drives.

Nice quality........2006-01-29

This wire worked perfectly to extend the USB 2 port in back of my computer to be in a convenient place. Very nice simple solution to have a quick place to plug in MP3 player and USB scanner. Its even easier than reaching down to the front of the computer as I just drape this over my desk. I think thats why they are putting USB ports on monitors. Its just more logical. Anyway, put it wherever its more convienient to you.
