Inconsistent cheap product.......2007-12-07
I bought 4 of these from a different online store. They are made in China and two of them did not work. There are many of them at different online stores and even on Amazon with slightly different pictures. Look at the color of the cable and the end connectors to compare. Not sure if they are actually USB 2.0 or not. Stay away from them if you can. Spend the extra $10 to get a better and more consistent brand.

According to my Toshiba laptop running Windows Vista the cable is a USB 1.1 hub and not the USB 2.0 that the factory packaging claims.
