Stylishly industrial, the Sanus Systems PFFP2B flat panel television stand securely holds your LCD or plasma television in place while also allowing it to tilt up and down for optimal viewing angles. It has a VESA compatible mounting bracket at the top that will accommodate the VESA 50, 75, 100, 200mm x 200mm and 200mm x 100mm mounting hole patterns. Once the TV is secured to the bracket, you can adjust the TV's angle by 12 degrees either up or down. The mounting bracket can hold TVs weighing up to 130 pounds (screens from 30 to 50 inches).
It features two adjustable, tempered glass shelves. With the TV bracket mounted in the highest position, you can move the adjustable shelves up and down within a range of approximately 2.5 feet. The top shelf measures 24.25 x 16.5 inches and the middle shelf measures 30.25 x 16.5 inches, and each can hold up to 50 pounds. The base shelf measures 43.25 x 23.5 inches for a steady footing. Audio/video cables can be concealed in the stand's pillar, so your setup has a clean, uncluttered look. Assembly required

I decided to buy a Sony 46" LCD TV. Initially wanted to wall mount the TV but later changed my mind (do not wanted to make holes into walls) and started to look for a TV stand. Searched on WEB , read several reviews on different products and finally decided to buy SANUS SYSTEM Flat Panel TV Stand ( Black ) from Amazon (Amazon had the lowest price). Product arrived in excellent condition. Assembly was easy. Just followed the instructions from manual that came with product. I could assemble the stand alone. Only time I needed help was to mount the TV onto the stand. Product is bit pricey but solid product and I am very happy with my purchase. It looks great in my living room and I highly recommend this product.
Nice looking solid stand but............2007-11-10
Nice looking solid stand but..... The cable management system was an after thought design or they never tried to use it. This very easily could have been a 4 or 5 star rating if it wasn't for that. It comes packaged well, with all hardware clearly labeled and clear easy instructions for assembly. Everything had nice clean edges and good fits. Went together very quick. Nice, solid and well constructed, it weighs about 100 lbs. Looks great in my room with my new plasma mounted on it. With that said, plan on spending 3 times the assembly time to run your cables. The storage area for the cables (the main support mast) is nice and large but to get cables into that you need to feed them through two narrow (about an inch) back to back slots (about 1.5 inches) between them. This makes it very difficult to reach them to pull them back out at the desired location. Tough to do with large gauge multiple conductor cables, and probably a little abusive on them. I strongly recommend running all your cables very early in your assembly process. Also most AC power plugs will be too wide to feed through slots to the cable management area, and forget it if it is a 3 prong grounded plug. Happy with it for the price I paid on line, but if the best you can do is list price, I think your money could be better spent.

A very good stand. It looks good, and is easy to put together. The only knock against it is that while it will easily hold all of you componets, it will not hide all of your wires. Still, I would not only recomend this stand, I would buy it again.

Went together easily with only minimal assistance from a second person to mount the post and hang the TV. The screws that connect the TV to the frame seem a bit short, but it seems very stable. Very easily configured to suit our needs, though I did need to pull out a level and tweak the mounts a bit to get the shelves aligned correctly.
One downside, the shiny semi-reflective base shows my kids sticky little hand prints clearly; bit of a cleaning nuisance. :)

The TV stand looks great, very easy to assemble. Enough space to hold all the components and game consols as well.
The bottom wood board is the only complaint. Very easy to dent it or scratch it which ruins the hi-tech glossy black look. Right out of the box, mine already had a small dent on the edge of the board. Then dropped a small nut on the board and bam, another dent. That was kind of frustrating.
For $500, was hoping this to be slightly more durable. Too heavy to be sending this back for exchange, just have to put something on top of the dents and cover it up.
Despite this minor issue, this is still a great stand. Definitely one of the best looking mountable stands in the market.
