I actually thought i was going to have problems with the product when i bought it here, but it has help me feel secure of my IPOD 80GB. Sometimes things fall not on purpose but accidently, and know with this cover i even feel secure even if it drops, cuz the cover is really that tough, i dont like it that much cuz it makes my 80GB look fat when it isnt, but i still love this product, every1 who buys this item well be satisfied!!!

Great portable sound.......2007-12-26

These speakers are not as slim and small as I expected, but they are still very portable. They work great on rechargeable batteries and are now my iPod's best friends. The sound is not very great at high volume, but it can be enjoyed loud enough. A great buy at $25 or so dollars.

I'm not an audiophile, but I must say that these small speakers sound great! I use these for my yoga classes where sometimes I need to crank up the sound for vibrational music. I get a crisp sound....good enough for me. I highly recommend these speakers. Great little 'portable' speakers! I'm satisfied. : ')

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, who uses it to supplement a lackluster work laptap on the road. He loves it so far and hasn't had any trouble. The volume and quality of sound is adequate for watching shows/movies on the computer, and the design is excellent for travel - the case is durable enough to pack without much worry over any cracking or other damage. The size is perfect for most carry on luggage, and the slim design doesn't take up much room at all.

While it has a few ergonomic issues (short cord, somewhat strange flip-back design, easily scratched transparent plastic cover), the sound is a smash. I have $1K speakers, High-end Sennheiser Headphones, Solid State and Tube gear - I am an audiophile. They are musical, clean and clear sounding without the slightest hint of fatigue. The bass is more than appropriate for a 1" deep cabinet, and moreover is balanced with the rest of the presentation - but no, there is not true low( sub 40hz) bass here, there never is with portable speakers. I bought them for my (non-audiophile) wife to use with her internet tablet at her office, but she gave it back - said it was too loud (like the tv, radio or stereo always is when I use it).

I love these speakers. I use them all the time since i purchased them.
I use them with my 30 gig Zune. The battery life last about 15 hours plus it came with a AC adapter. Would definitly buy again.

Can't see why other more expensive speakers can't sound like this.......2007-11-27

It has clear sound, good bass, feels nice, and a short and practical cord. It is bigger than the picture makes it look. It's 11.5 inches long, 4.25 inches wide and 1.25 inches thick. It still awkwardly fits into my cargo pants pocket though, which is all I was looking for.

The first time I played some sound through it, all I could say for awhile was "WOW". I was greatly impressed by the sound for portable speakers. You can feel the sound easily on the outside, even at a low volume. Volume was a big thing for me, this puts out enough sound to be heard very well in a single, medium-sized room. Distortion is not really a problem, it handles this well.

Its clear plastic speaker cover folds all the way back as its stand. I can tell it would be easily scratched. Resistance is perfect for the hinges on the cover. It comes with a power adapter that does not charge it. It runs off four AA batteries. You could use rechargeable ones, and charge them externally like what I'm doing. Or, you could in the long-run spend much more on one-time use batteries. My rechargeable in the back of the device did get stuck there though. The case for the batteries in the device is tight, fine for alkaline, single-use batteries, but apparently not too well for rechargeables, which are slightly wider (1-2mm more). The sound input cable is built in, and only a few inches long, which is practical for its design. Because of its length, you simply push the cord into the back of the device, and it wraps around the edge of the back. The cord completely fits neatly into the device. Lid does not close tightly, if it is squeezed with something though, like a rubber band, then it is completely sealed from dirt, although the back has holes for ventilation. There is rubber on the rim of the lid, and the speaker around the rim of the device. If squeezed, it seals perfectly when squeezed gently. It weighs about three pounds with batteries, without the power adapter. The power adapter is extremely light and has a 6ft cord. The plug is put directly on the transformer, but it's thin, so it does not take up two spaces on an outlet, instead it juts out to the side. There is no volume control, only an off and on button on the top. It automatically turns off after seven minutes of no use. When it is disconnected and on, it does not hum or produce any sound at all, it's the ipidimy of quiet. I never have had a problem with it turning off on me when I have my music down incredibly low. It's very sensitive about knowing when sound is being played to it.
