This is a terrible armband! I bought it for my dh to use while he works out and it is waaaaay to big the Ipod nano. If you have an older and much bigger mp3 player it might work but if not don't waste your money. I am sending it back.

Very good product! Stays fastend tightly to arm or forearm ! Keeps I pod safe and dry! only problem is the headphone hole is in wrong spot for any of the newer 30 GB I pods!
Comfortable armband for iPod.......2007-09-04
This is a comfortable armband. It doesn't close tightly enough for people with small arms, however. It is also not as nice for the newer iPods because the headphones jack is not in the middle top of the iPod.

The XtremeMac SportsWrap ArmBand is a descent product, but there are some flaws which would stop me from whole-heartedly recommending it.
Flaws:
- This is a 4th generation iPod product. To make it a fifth generation requires an X-acto knife or other sharp implement.
- The strap is sized for the bicep of the incredible Hulk. A lot of strap is left over after securing it.
- The velcro on said strap is not sewed down well enough to let me cinch the arm band to the appropriate tightness for my Bruce Banner biceps.
Gems:
- Love the full clear surface. Works with both my wife's 3rd generation and my 5.5 generation iPods.
- Feels like the iPod is secure. This my be a bi-product of it's size, I definitely know when it is moving.
- Outside of the arm band velcro, feels well constructed and relatively bomb-proof (gamma or otherwise).

I am satisfied with this product in general. I don't use it every day but for the time I needed it worked just fine. It fits well in my arm and doesn't move when I am jogging as long as I get it tight. The only problem, is that the whole for locking/unloncking the iPod is too small and I have to find it over the case. I would suggest it.

I recently bought this product a few weeks ago and simply put - I like it. The arm wrap I had before I got at the apple store when I got my Ipod and it lasted forever through sweat and all elements of weather but then a piece broke and it slowly fell apart. I then found a lot of arm wraps on Amazon and read all the reviews one day. Then the next day I narrowed my favorites down and read them again. Then the next day I finally narrowed it down to this one. I am a slim girl but the arm wrap is just a little too big but not bad, it stays put through my weight lifting. The positives are is I can really see it will protect my Ipod from sweat, water, and/or and other things. I know my Ipod won't fall out. I like that I can see the whole screen and everything. I like the material and it does wick away moisture. The negatives are that the material is a little thick so I can't find the lock/hold switch very well. And the actual case part, not the band is quite big, even on my average sized arms it sometimes moves around.Though I tend to wear a light sweatshirt during my workouts so most of the time the armband stays snug and secure against my arm. I like it, buy it. Enjoy your work-out!!!

At first, I thought this product might be a little bulky, but after using it I've found it works perfectly with the larger Ipods. Also, the fabric is very comfortable and allows for the user to wear it for prolonged periods of time without being itchy or annoying.
Finally an armband that fits!!.......2007-09-21
After trying a few that were way too small for my arm I found that this is a perfect fit. It stays in place well, the neoprene like fabric stretches as it should and the band has enough space so even a small arm can fit into it and I dont notice that I am wearing it. The velcro closures on either end keep the ipod secure and snug. The plastic covering for the face allows ease of use for the controls (though sometimes its difficult to adjust the volume but thats more of a dexterity issue). All in all an excellent product

Don't waste the money.......2007-09-26
With all of the ipod shuffle products out there, this one definitely isn't worth the money. You constantly have to readjust it, if you don't do it exactly right, the velcro scratches your arm, and it's not really water resistant, which is the point.

I got one of these w/ my shuffle.
Don't waste your money!!!
Horrible design. With the velco in the back, against your skin, if you do work up a good sweat (running) the moisture will seep right through and soak your shuffle. The velcro at the top and bottom seams is woefully inadequate.My shuffle died after only 2 months, b/c the repeated exposure to moisture (sweat via running) did it in.
And the earplug access is um, a challenge, as best.

Not Bad.......2006-04-19
This is a pretty good product. Its not fancy or cool, but it gets the job done as advertised. I've been caught in light rain with it and it protected my iPod just fine, and sweat, humidity, or mist is not an issue at all. Placing the Apple 20 GB iPod M8741LL/A (2nd Generation) in the case and inserting a pair of AUDIO OUTFITTERS SX50 ezEars Earphones for the Apple iPod is not really a problem, and the earphone cord is held securely by an elastic loop. Using the iPod controls is not a problem either, and the price is pretty good. It is a bit large, but its not too bad. I did experience a few problems: If I'm wearing a sweatshirt I almost run out of strap when I wrap it around my arm (and I'm not one of those muscle guys either, I just do pushups.) If I run more than 30 minutes the sportswrap will sometimes slide down my arm to my elbow, but its not that common, and I've never had the sportswrap come loose. It does get a bit hot after about 20 minutes. I would buy it again though, it has served me well for about 6 months now.
Addendum: Late July '06, after 9 months of hard use (constant travel and excercise) the SportWrap developed a small tear at the end of the armbelt. I don't know if its wear or if I hit something, I think I may have torn it pulling it out of a bag. I put up a picture if you want to see it (yes, I know its RED.) In the picture the tear is just below and to the left of the earbuds. Few other signs of wear.

After reading some reviews on other sites on the web, I was hesitant to buy this armband. After seeing what else was offered for the iPod for armbands, this armband is really the best choice that I found. Let me try to explain away the concerns of other reviewers.
First, I'm not a body-builder, but I don't have sticks for arms, either. I would say that I have average arm size, and the velcro wrap fit just fine on my arm. On the contrary, this armband is more comfortable than the armband I used for my MiniDisc player by far.
Yes, there is some black lint that gets transferred to the iPod. The lucite-esque case of the iPod is a magnet for lint. There will always be lint on items that involve cut fabric, and this armband is no different.
Condensation on this armband was not an issue. I wear running shirts (similar in fabric to Nike's DriFit), and put this armband over the sleeve. There are reviewers on other sites that were concerned about condensation of perspiration must have worn it directly on their skin--if so, I would recommend simply wearing a light shirt underneath the armband.
Some may complain about needing to disconnect the headphones before removing the iPod from the armband. What would you rather have, an extremely water-resistant case for all-weather activity, or a slight (emphasis on slight) convenience of not needing to disconnect the headphones?
I bought this armband, and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
