I bought this because it was less expensive than some others, but still seemed to have reasonable reviews. My unit works fine with my iPods. The connector to the iPod is a bit stiff, but not a problem. I'm happy with the charger.

I try to use it with iPod 60 connected to AUX in Toyota Prius. Noise appears immediately after connecting Powerjolt.
The noise level make it uncomfortable to listen.

I was looking for a good car charger for my iphone from the first day of its release. Looking at the images of Griffin PowerJolt, I was skeptical of the build quality and I was leaning towards the InCharge model. As Amazon does not appear to stock the "InCharge" charger, I decided to try this one. And I am so glad I did try. The charger works fine. The DC Adaptor and both the cables are supple and are of very nice quality. Amazon.com has the lowest price in the entire known retail world. I definitely recommend this reasonably priced product.

I know that its normal for chargers like this to generate some noise that is audible through the car speakers when playing music but I just couldn't stand it. It honestly wasn't that much buzzing and had I kept the charger longer I probably would have gotten used to it and not heard it at all but I'm picky about those type of things. So overall I don't recomend it but I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter which charger you buy your still going to get some buzzing.

This works as expected with iPod mini but does not filter any noise. If it is plugged in and the iPod is playing it produces noise, most probably because of electrical noise coming from the car charger socket.
Powerjolt car charger whistles.......2007-01-10
I have found the Griffin Powerjolt to be effective, but when I play the iPod while it is connected to the charger (via the iTrip) there is an audible high-pitched whistling that can be sort of annoying. The good news is, the iPod powers up pretty quickly when attached and when the battery life is sufficiently extended I can disconnect the iTrip from the charger and the whistle goes away.

I use my iPod nano in my car and was constantly running the battery down. Finding a charger to do this is easy, but I wanted to go with a trusted name like Griffin. In summary, it does the job, the cord is long enough and it's white which matches my nano. Overall, a good value from a trusted name.

This has to be the most pathetic subwoofer ever created. The enclosure is not at all tuned correctly and the puny 4 inch speaker can't handle any frequecy below 80Hz without totally distoring (yes even at the lowest volume settings). 50 watts? Yah Right... Maybe 50 Watts instantaneous peak at 125Hz, but not even close to 50 watts where you need it.
Do not waste your money on this junk. Save up for a little while longer and get something from a company that does not hide their true specifications.

This 50W DK subwoofer came free after I purchased the projector. Either I got a lemon, or they simply aren't worth the box they ship it in. Don't buy it, you will regret it as soon as you hear it.
On the other hand, I still love my Optoma DV10 MovieTime Home Theater DLP Projector With Built-In DVD Player, but I hooked it up to a Sony HT-DDW700 Complete 5.1-Channel DVD Home Theater System instead. As of today (9/1/2007) this Sony package is selling for $169.00. Together, these are a great combination.
