The adjustable waist belt from CTA provides the ultimate convenience in carrying your iPod or iPod mini. I used this product in the Theatre to hold wireless microphone transmitters. The product is worn under the costumes and provides a secure location for use. It has been exactly what I was looking for and it has proven very reliable on stage!
Not user-friendly.......2007-07-09
I used this belt a couple times and then gave up. It just doesn't suit my needs well: 1) The belt is difficult to adjust and has no "give." It's not stretchy, like the belt on competing devices. This means that if I go out one day with just a T-shirt, but need a sweatshirt the next day because it's cold out, I have to futz with the belt to make it fit. 2) The iPod goes in sideways and is a tight fit, so every time you want to adjust volume, skip to the next track, etc, it's a struggle to remove and replace it. 3) The earphone jack has to thread in through a small opening every time you want to use the belt. I guess if you permanently leave your earphones attached to this belt it would be OK, but if you sometimes use your iPod without this belt, it's a bother.
I'm donating the CTA belt to Goodwill. I replaced it with a TuneBelt Plus, which I'm much happier with.
Very sturdy...but a little too Manly.......2007-01-08
This is great for a strapping young lad, but not so great if you are looking for comfort, attractiveness, and easy insert and removal of your ipod. It reminds me more of a weight lifter's belt. It is definitely very high quality and durable. And it will fit a waist up to 52". A better choice for most folks might be the TuneBelt iPod Carrier belt.

okay got this belt because I can't do the whole armband thing, it gets in the way during pressing and pulling movements in the gym and just doesnt feel right doing curls, enter the mp3 belt (I was a cd belt guy before as well), one size fits all. I don't even have an Ipod, I put my san disk mp3 player in here for the free weights, and zmate mp3 player (cheap free one i got) for running. If you have a small cellphone, it will also fit in the belt. There are two compartments, so you can hold extra batteries, id card, change, cell as stated, extra headphones, whatever. Totally reccommend this one for serious trainers.
