You get what you pay for. This cheap phone has a cheap sound to it. People often have trouble hearing me on the other end, and there is this annoying echo that the other party hears. Pay some more $$ and upgrade!

I've probably gone through a half dozen phones trying to find one as good as when the phone company used to sell them. This one is it; it sounds good, actually disconnects when you hang it up; you dont sound like you're talking in a tin can. Well worth the money.
