Not impressed.......2007-11-21
When I first got it I thought it looked pretty cool, but quickly realized that this is a very cheap phone.
It requires 3 AA batteries and seems to chew through them pretty quickly.
The talking caller ID is kind of nice, but when another phone is in use, the phone picks up voice as numbers and just randomly speaks them out. It's very annoying.
With this phone you get what you pay for. I would not get this phone again, even if it was free.

The speaker phone on it doesn't work. It produces a shrill noise. I thought it was the phone and exchanged it at rite-aid twice, and still the same problem. Very cheap construction. I guess it's a bug that they can't fix, so they're selling it for 9 bucks.
If you don't care about the speakerphone, then it's ok for the price. Very cute for a nice contemporary living room. The caller id annoucements are good.

Great idea, poor exicution........2006-10-06
I purchased this item at a local drug store for $9.95.
Whenever you returned the handset to the base there was a loud reverb
squeal.
It ate batteries at an alarming rate (every week) and there was no A/C adaptor.
I stopped using the batteries and the caller I.D. quit as well as
all of the other features.
Then, after 8 months it started squealing whenever you picked it up
to make a call.
It is now in the recycle bin.

Great Phone on paper... only.......2006-09-18
This phone looks reasonably good in appearance and on paper except that not much really works... hands-free feature never worked and after a week even with the new batteries, the LCD only works when you pick up the receiver, which makes all the other cool features like calculator pretty useless. Plus it resets it's calendar eveytime i hangup a phone call.
LCD Not Working.......2006-01-14
I JUST STARTED USING THIS PHONE ON JAN. 9, 2006. MY LCD ONLY WORKS WHEN I PICK UP THE RECEIVER. I HAVE FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS AND REPLACED MY NEW BATTERIES WITH MORE NEW BATTERIES. I CHECKED WITH 2 OTHER PEOPLE WITH THE SAME PHONE, AND THEY HAVE THE SAME ISSUES. THE SPEAKER WHINES REALLY, REALLY LOUDLY, SO I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT ALSO. I WOULD REALLY LIKE THIS SLEEK PHONE, IF NOT FOR THESE PARTICULAR ISSUES.

I bought this phone because of the "great specs"; calculator, calendar, clock, speaker, caller id, it got it all. It worked great for about 8 months and now I can hardly dial out. The numbers in the middle section (2, 5, 8, and 0) are completely dysfunctional, so the calculator won't work either. Dialing out is a real nightmare; the keys get either stuck, dial doubles, or simply don't work. It takes at least 10 tries to just dial a number. So buy this phone only if you like to change systems every year, if you ONLY receive calls, or just don't need to dial 2, 5, 8 or 0. I know...it's only a $10 bucks' phone!!!

Great Gift Idea for Teens.......2007-01-02
This phone is a great gift idea for teens. It has a cool look, and the ring tones are great. You can even listen to the radio. It's definitely a phone of all trades. It has touch panel, radio and caller ID in addition to the sweet ringtones. It takes some time to get used to the product, but the manual does help, and it's not a book manual, only one page. Neat phone.
The worst phone ever.......2006-01-11
I would not recommend this phone to anyone. The so-called instruction manual that comes with the phone is inadequate at best. The instructions do not match the layout of the phone. For example, there is not a "music" button to change the tones. There is no ring tone; it is very difficult to hang the phone up, you need to slide and slam the phone down in order to disconnect. There is not a description of the various buttons that are on the phone, (like what is the button on the very back for?!). It is aesthetically pleasing, but that is about it.

AWFUL.......2007-09-10
This clock turned out to be an absolute piece of junk. It worked for the first couple days, then started to gradually go faster, so that I'd come home at the end of the day and it would be half an hour ahead of all the other clocks. New batteries, etc. made no difference.

A no-frills clock-radio which works fine. I wish they had included a wire antenna like the Sony ones for better reception. But for the price I paid, no complaints!!
