BEST mp3 player.......2007-11-11
amazing product! it is worth much more than what i paid. incredibly light, cant even notice it. headphones are comfortable (though i broke mine! gaaaah! replaced them with phillips headphones, and the meizu ones were better).
Plenty of space... i have about 500 songs on mine and i think thats enough, though there is a lot of space left (i mean, like 4 gb i dont even touch). i use it as a usb as well, very easy stuff (drag and drop). i carry this everywhere and the battery life is great. couldnt be more happy. i laugh at everyone else who is scrolling there little wheels or switching batteries. never dropped this thing cuz it is such a convenient size and the cover is grippy, never had a scratch. had ONE problem and i just reset it. this was the first day i had it, so that was just bad luck. after that, (its been 3 months almost), ZERO PRObLEMS.
one detail is that when it updates its library, its a bit slower than it could be.... but obviously nowhere near long... its just a bit slow.
oh yeah, and the headphone heads come off kind of easy (at least mine did), but just pop them back in and they will be fine. (i broke the cable on mine, which was because i kinda sorta ran into a tree... dont ask).

Very nice looking and good sound quality.......2007-07-03
After searching for almost 2 hours in the crowded Beijing ZhongGuancun computer markets, I was attracted with this small stylish mp3/mp4 player. Before then, I have tried different brands like Samsung, Hundyi from Korea and Oppo, NewMan from China. Sony is too expensive for me, I don't want to spend a lot to just a mp3 player.
This one is just fantastic, I both love this m3 and the m6 mini-player. The screen is very bright and beautiful, not like the Oppo one which is only a little cheaper. And the sound is great, especailly after I change the default earbud to my Sennheiser mx400. The only problem I have met is that if you outdoors, the screen is not as bright as indoor time. Maybe it's common for lcd mp3 players? The FM player is OK, with 10+ channels in Beijing area and sounds good.
Anyway, I still recommend you to have one of this, much better than my previous Creative Zen series, and even comparable to iPod series.

A flawed design........2007-05-28
I ignored DaveG's review and was sorry I did! Even during installation I thought it was a good product. BUT it was exactly as DaveG said, it would not hold my LCD TV up or down. The mount allows movement of about 90 degrees but would only stay in half of that range. The right-left rotation was fine. My TV was just 9 lb and the mount is rated for 15 lbs. Also I had to buy longer screws to attach the TV.
It is possible to use this -- if you just HAVE TO have a under cabinet mount -- simply use a long screw with a wingnut to hold it in a fixed position. Likewise, you could hold it up by attaching a spring. Of course with this rigging you couldn't raise or lower it without a hassle.
I finally put the TV back on the stand that it came with and left it on the countertop. Flipping it up and down would have been cool but this is not the product to do it with.
I sent it back to Amazon for a refund and now I have to cover up the holes I made in the kitchen cabinet.

The review by DaveG "hits the nail on the head". This is a very poorly designed poduct and, after much work installing the product and tightening the tension screw TO NO AVAIL, I am contacting Sanus for a return and full refund.
I believe Sanus generally makes quality equipment but not so in this case.

Poor design - will not keep TV up and DANGEROUS.......2007-01-03
This product may be appropriate if you have a VERY light TV, but it will not keep even a moderate weight LCD in the up position. To add to the problem, the design is such that when the TV "sags" down, it also slides backward, causing it to drop very hard.
First, I'll explain the problem in function, then the DANGER in trying to use this product.
I tried to use it to support a 15" Toshiba. The weight as mounted was 12 pounds. The product says it can be used for TV's up to 18 pounds. The TV would not stay either up or down. It would just hang in a position about halfway in between. The adjustment for this is a set screw which is supposed to increase the friction of the mnount so that it will hold the TV. The set screw is turned by a provided hex wrench. I turned this wrench as hard as I could, but got very little movement of the screw and no improvement in product performance. I then took the mount down, took it to my workbench, and tightened the screw to the full limit of it's travel. This resulted in some improvement - instead of returning immediately to the not-up-or-down position, the TV returned there slowly. THERE IS NO WAY THAT THIS PRODUCT WILL SUPPORT A 12 POUND TV. I would be very reluctant to trust it with anything over about 5 pounds.
Now to the DANGER. The mount has a very nice slide feature that allows the TV to move forward as it is moved to the up position. This allows a sightly larger TV to be mounted without hitting the wall as you move it up. Unfortunately, there is no friction at all on the sliding mechanism. The result is that as the TV sags back down from the up position, it reaches a point where it suddenly slides back. The result is essentially that the TV falls about 2 - 3 inches. The mount keeps it from hitting the counter top, but the action is very jarring on the TV itself, and if anything happens to be on the counter top under the TV when this happens real damage could result.
THIS IS A BAD PRODUCT! There are far better and safer mounts available.
