You can not do any better in terms of sound (Thats why we buy these things, right!) The ease of use can not be touched by anything else and of course it is drag-and-drop so you do not depend on i-tunes,
Windows Media Player etc.. I also want to mention the 5 band EQ and the sound inhance features because with them the sound gets even better. The only room for improvement I will mention is the over-sensitivity of the controls on the front of the player. This is true on my A6 and the two A7's I own. However, if you want the best sound around take a listen! I do not think you will be disappointed.

I have used several iAudio products in the past and I believe they are superior to most other MP3 players on the market. The I7 feels especially solidly built. I have to agree with the previous reviewer that the interface may not be as intuitive as e.g. the iPod's, but once you've gotten used to it you'll be happy you did get used to it since everything else about this player will leave the competition in the dust! Sound quality is exquisite! Especially if you pair this player with an aftermarket earphone like the 'Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10 Pro'. Yeah, right! you say.. This unit is even costlier than the player itself, but if you manage to make some sacrifices to come up with the dough to pair these units together you'll be so greatly rewarded that you will thank yourself a long time for making them! The unit supports several compression standards like FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) which should be used to compress your CD collection if you wish to experience the player's full potential. The radio reception is, like for most units like this, nothing to write home about - you need to be in close range of your preferred FM station's antenna to receive an acceptable signal for the unit's FM receiver. To sum my review up - if it's sound quality you're shopping for and not an excessively promoted to-brag-about brand - look nowhere else!

Very happy with the interface. Some may find it hard to get used to because the controls are very sensitive but I like the quick response. Audio quality is excellent. The one problem with the iAudio is the total lack of playlists. Very, very hard to work around. Cowon's 'folder' solution is no serious competition for the iPod and other players that incorporate playlists. I'm no fan of iTunes but I do love the way a desktop app like winamp - so simple to use - can manage my iPod playlists and virtually all of my music.

MY WIFE AND I HAD THE OLDER VERSION WHICH FINALLY WORE OUT. WE DECIDED NOT TO SPEND THE MONEY TO REPLACE IT, BUT AFTER AWHILE WE REALIZED HOW MUCH WE MISSED IT AND HAD TO BUY THE NEWER VERSION. IT HAS TONS MORE WORD SOLUTIONS, IS STURDIER AND MORE COMFORTABLE IN THE HAND THAN THE OLD ONE. THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS TINY - YOU HAVE TO CLICK THE CLEAR BUTTON TO STOP THE DEMO AFTER YOU TURN IT ON. NO BIG DEAL! IF YOU LIKED THE OLDER VERSION OR ARE JUST HOOKED ON CROSSWORD PUZZLES, FRANKLIN IS FOR YOU!

This is the 3rd crossword puzzle solver I have had. I wore the other 2 out. This item is great for solving crosswords, cryptograms, etc. I use mine every day. I find that they last a long time and are very durable.
questionable packaging or delivery.......2007-07-19
CWP-206 was purchased from Computer Brain via Amazon. It arrived very quickly by FedEx, in apparently undamaged retail packaging. Very middle of the display had black streaks which I thought was protective film. When unable to remove, emailed Franklin with picture, whose reply said display itself was damaged, not covered by warranty. I didn't pursue matter further, too much trouble as device was still usable with some extra steps. Impossible to know when the display was damaged, so where blame lies. CWP-206 is faster and has more features than its CWP-100 predecessor, but is also bigger and more clunky, not for your shirt pocket!
A valuable puzzle helper........2007-07-18
This puzzle solver is very useful when you've gone as far as you can on your own. It's more enjoyable than looking at an answer sheet. The display could have more resolution, but the letters are big.
Great for Crossword puzzlers.......2007-03-09
I actually bought this for my 82 yr old mother - who called and said how delighted she was with the product. She especially likes the feature where she can type in partial letters and get possible solutions. She uses it to help her solve Jumbles as well. It's easy to use, has appropriate words and lots of choices. In fact, she asked me to order another one for her neighbor, who has tried many other types, but was never happy with them. Now he's a convert to this one as well. The only drawback, according to them, is the lid is a little flimsy and with lots of use, tends to come off. Other than that, they love it.
