Pros:
- it has a spring clip
- it fits snugly, but not so much that you can't remove it (which you must to charge). May be a bad thing after a while, as it may scratch the player.
Cons:
- the player's screen is uncovered, you should add your own screen protector.
- all four corners are exposed, though the nearby leather may protect (except for the antenna corner). Hope that you drop it on its back or the right side--everyplace else exposes some part of the player.
- sync/charge connector port is covered (may be a good thing, keeps lint out).
- buckle flap covers the power switch and hold switch.
- speaker is covered. Sound is just slightly muffled compared to not using the case.
Overall, not great. I'll use it for the belt clip, though not sure I'll use it other times. I may make a cutout for the connector, and may poke some holes for half of the speaker (the other half is covered by the clip).

The case is not big and ideally fits the size of my Sansa MP3. I personally prefer leather case than silicone one. It has a belt loop to clip on your belt, design is good and reasonable

Built tough to withstand the punishing marine environment, the Icom IC-M2A handheld VHF radio is a must for safety-minded boaters. The radio is outfitted with a host of valuable features, including an easy-to-read 1.38-by-0.94-inch LCD display, a backlit eight-button keypad, and a rugged waterproof housing that's submersible in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. More significantly, the radio works with all 57 U.S., 61 Canadian, and 57 international channels, along with 10 weather channels from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA). The VHF channels offer an ideal way to communicate with other boaters--whether exchanging information on a great fishing spot or sending out a distress signal--while the NOAA channels notify you when inclement weather is approaching.
The radio works intuitively, with well-spaced, clearly labeled switches on the front panel that provide easy, one-handed access to frequently used functions.
