This is my first mp3 player but it has really impressed me. Excellent sound and loud enough. Easy to use interface and doesn't need special programs to add music, just copy and paste through the explorer browser. Worthy player for lee money.

this thing should be for sale at a dollar store after the holidays. OK so they squeezed 2 gig into a postage stamp, cool. but it's dumb, meaning no intelligent software. you can't sort songs by artist, you just load and it puts them into whatever order it wants. I don't want to listen to say the chili peppers then my favorite country star as an encore. so if you want a little order in your device spend a little more and get something intelligent and doesn't slip out of your fingers like an ice cube while your driving or cooking or whatever.
can't make playlists.......2007-12-13
I had a zen nano, which I loved. It was lost, and I figured this newer model would be even better. Well, it's cute and the sound is fine, but I can't make playlists! I teach fitness and need to be able to put songs in the order I want, but this stone only puts songs alphabetically. Very frustrating for me. It's practically worthless. I'm not crazy about the way you press the buttons to get to the menu, browse songs, etc.

It good for its size does what it supposed to do battery is okay not as long because its small and EQ is so so I have a Sansa and sound is much better but if you need a small on the go mp3 player this is a good one very small!!

Good product.......2007-10-25
I bought this about a year back to gift it to my brother... I guess he is using it regularly and is working fine.. I got it for a good price at that time and quality of this product is good too.. I transfered about 150 songs into it and listened to them.. it was a good quality sound and was very easy to use too.

Others have described this unit fully, so I won't do so here. Highlights are:
(1) About the size of a pack of gum and comes with an arm-band carrier which is great for running
(2) Has an FM radio and microphone built in (and a line-in jack)
(3) Runs on an AAA battery (my sons' Ipods all died prematurely because of the rechargeable batteries which aren't replaceable)- for me it is easier to carry a few AAA batteries than a charger
(4) An incredible number of settings and modes that are easy to access once you get used to the toggle-press switch
(5) Extremely easy to drag and drop songs into organizing folders on the PC interface
(6) Tiny display is amazingly informative, with song time, repeat mode, battery life, equalization setting, and song title all displayed when a song is playing (display changes when accessing other functions).
I have only one minor complaint, that is not documented: You are limited to 60 song folders (including the one or two folders that are built in). You can set up more than that on the PC interface, but the player ignores them.
Survived water.......2007-09-25
I have had my player for a little over year now, and I like it. But what I want to tell you about is it's durability. I have dropped my mp3player, and all the normal things to abuse it. But two nights ago I dropped it in a cup of iced tea. I got it out, got the battery out, and blew on both the player and battery it to dry them. The music stored on it still played, and after one day of drying out, the radio works as well. That's what I wanted to say.
creative labs is a bad company w/ bad product.......2007-08-01
I owned this device for 5 months and it just stopped working... I went though all the proper channels for repair and was told they want at least $25.00 to "work" on my warranty repair. It turns out only parts are covered for a year and labor only for 3 months. This is NOT what I call standing behind your product.
DON'T BUY CREATIVE PRODUCTS! Not only are they poorly made, but Creative knows this and doesn't stand behind their own products.

Why WhY WHY do companies always discontinue their bombproof, proven and reliable products in favor of the latest, greatest and inherantly buggy? Stupid move, Creative. This player is phenomonal. The Zen Stone Plus - it's presumed replacement - isn't even close. Sigh.

The Honeywell TE601CELW Color Weather Forecaster with Atomic Clock features a colorful animated forecast that will add a new dimension to any environment. Sun, clouds, rain and other weather conditions are displayed in a color window at the top of the display unit. In addition to the unique weather forecasting, this weather forecaster also provides indoor and outdoor temperature, barometric information and atomic time.
With the main display unit measuring 2.79 x 7.08 x 2.79 inches (WxHxD), the TE601CELW can monitor temperatures for up to three remote locations. The clock includes one TS13C sensor that has a wireless transmission range of approximately 100 feet (unobstructed). Additional sensors are sold separately.
Featuring an atomic clock that never needs resetting, the time updates automatically within the continental U.S. via a radio signal transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado, adjusting the clock to within one second of official government standards. The atomic clock even adjusts for Daylight Savings Time. The Honeywell animated weather forecaster includes a numeric barometric pressure display reading; manual altitude adjustment; backlighting for easy night viewing and a programmable ice warning alarm for Channel 1.
