PROS :
- 17 inch in 3kg
- full keyboard
- wireless a/g/n(draft, not tested yet)
CONS :
- no hdd activity led !!! (that's TOO bad)
- no num lock led
- no firewire (ok, just buy a card and plug it in)
- one speaker AND sounds ugly
I see why hp's site does no have full views of this notebook.
It's too spartan, but what the heck, it's still portable with a big screen .
BTW, windows vista ( business 32bit) is not at stable as a business OS should be .
Ubuntu 7.10 refuses to bring network up, unless with "noacpi" boot parameter, despite it's all intel network platform , a pity .
*** UPDATE 2007 DEC 07 . Update bios to F.04 , now ubuntu runs nicely ***
