Tungsten Owners Beware!!!.......2006-04-28
This keyboard is NOT compatable with the tungsten E or E2s (which do not use the 'universal' connector. I can't say anything about what other models may or may not work with it, but be aware that the Palm 'universal' connector is NOT in fact universal. It may be a marvelous keyboard, but I bought it based on the information that it was compatable with my palm...
Pretty, but fragile.......2005-06-18
I've owned two of these keyboards, both of which I bought new, and both had dead keys (specifically, J through L) after a few months. It's a pity, because the size and layout of this keyboard is excellent. I now use the much cheaper Logitech keyboard, because at least when that dies it'll only cost 7 bucks to replace.

This is just about the coolest little keyboard you can find. It is light, portable, and it responds as well as a normal keyboard. The one downside, which I recently discovered, is that it won't work with the newer class of Palm Devices, explaining why it is so inexpensive now. When I first purchased a keyboard, it was to go along with a Zire 71 handheld. That handheld died, forcing me to upgrade to the newer Zire 72. Much to my surprise, Palm changed the connection for their PDA's, rendering the wonderful little typing device useless.
So, if you are using one of the older models that it can work with, I would certainly say that it is a good buy. But, I would not count on it to last you for generations of Palm devices to come.
Will Fall Apart.......2004-12-10
The piece that holds the palm to the keyboard fell apart - little metal and plastic bits everywhere. It's impossible to put back together. I hadn't mistreated or mishandled it, it is just very fragile. (In fact, I wish I had done something bad to it - I'd feel better.) I do not recommend that you buy this keyboard.
Utilitarian.......2004-10-07
I've just bought the keyboard, and it seems versatile and useable. I would have liked another row of keys; however, it is incredibly small which is nice.
One thing I ran into was that after the first time that I used it, I couldn't hot sync to my PC. I found that if I go into the keboard icon on my Palm and uncheck "Enable keyboard" that I could hot sync again. That was a little scary at first, but now that I have discovered the fix, it's just an inconvenience.

Everything works smoothly.......2007-09-16
I am using this component with an AMD X2 dual processor on the Windows XP Professional OS, with a 250 GB hard drive. Now, I am able to run more than 1 program simultaneously, and the computer detects the amount of RAM as 1.93 GB, not exactly 2 GB, but is close enough to described amount. I can view movies while running system optimization programs (such as Spybot) and at the same time also load web pages too. Not bad for the price.

RAM That Works.......2007-07-22
What can I say? I'm no computer hardware genius, so whenever I decide to upgrade something that requires taking the side panel off my computer, I hold my breath...and then of course there's the question of whether buying a brand other than one from the big-name computer manufacturer, carries a risk commensurate with the lower price...well, all I can say is that this RAM installed easily, and works fine. When I checked device manager in Windows, it shows the RAM is there, and working...
the only suggestion I have for novice installers is this: inserting the RAM cards into the slots takes patience for two reasons (1) the RAM slots are often behind a mass of cords and wiring and are hard to get to - so be patient. (2) The RAM has to be snapped FIRMLY into the sockets, and then locked in place with the tiny plastic flips (You'll understand when you look inside your computer)... Its easy to think they are snapped all the way in, but I've had to try a few times before I was actually successful in getting them to seat 100%. (You cant be sure til you actually restart your computer).
...and of course, be sure you buy RAM that is compatible with your computer model. All of this is doable, and a lot cheaper than paying somebody to do it for you.
I would give this product five stars if the simple installation suggestions I've made above accompanied the product. After all, we're not all rocket scientists.
