One blind mouse.......2007-12-02
This mouse sucks! That is the nicest way I can put it. I would have given it 1 star, but it does technically work. I hate the way that it feels. I know that this is personal preference, but my husband and my daughter do also. It is hesitant to move around the screen, but the worst part is the scroll function. Maybe I should rephrase that and call it the scroll malfunction. It takes forever to get from the top to the bottom of the page and you have to keep clicking it. That is the most irritating part of using it. Mine had to be directly in front of the receiver in order to work right and for that you might as well get one with a cord. Basically this thing had to go. I replaced it with the Logitech MediaPlay Cordless Mouse and it is doing great. All of the features function perfectly. Take it from me, this one is not worth the trouble.
Excellent mouse for the average user........2007-09-14
I have had this mouse for a few months now and I am completely pleased with it. The response is excellent and has very fluid movement. The only problem I have with it is the range. My mouse sits on top of my tower when I use it, and for some reason that cuts the range down drastically. If I set it anywhere else the range is perfectly fine. This mouse take 2 AA batteries, and I noticed that when I take one of them out, the mouse still works! I find it very odd, but beneficial if I only have one battery lying around when I need a new one. Overall, this is a great mouse for someone who doesn't care about all the frills of expensive mouses. I recommend it to anyone.
Do not buy.......2007-05-21
Wife bought me this product to use worked fine for about a month. Then it started quiting after looking up some information on the net i came to the conclustion your money is better spent on a more expensive mouse since this mouse will not last you out. Evenually i figured to remove the cover from the reciver. Doing this offered me the ablitiy to atleast temporatly use the mouse, but considering what i know form electronices a small thin piece of plastic should not make that much of a differance. It is a very bad mouse and if another similer mouse cost 5 dollors more just pay the 5 dollars for a better mouse. This is the worest mouse i have ever purchased.
Fixed my wheel.......2007-01-08
The mouse is pretty normal, and inexpensive. The mouse is small for my XL hand size. I didn't like the remote receiver configuration, should have gotten one for a laptop. I totally didn't like the intermittent wheel operation. At first I thought it was my system or the internet. Then I read some reviews here. I took the mouse apart and cleaned the optical device (with the bottom of my t-shirt) and it is working fine now.
Drives you nuts.......2006-12-09
The scroll wheel has such a bad lag time in responding I disabled vertical scrolling altogether! This mouse is driving me nuts.
And yes, I did take apart and apply said 'fix' for the wheel. Alas, it didn't work very well.
