Tracking Stinks!.......2007-06-21

I agree with the other review that the faster you move your hand the faster and more responsive the pointer moves. For someone that does graphic arts or photography work this mouse does not cut it. I thought I could get a decent mouse under $20 ($16.95 at Best Buy) but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Very dodgy tracking........2007-05-20

This mouse is extremely hard to get used to. There seems to be a threshold involved where if you move your mouse beyond a certain speed it suddenly is much more responsive - increasing the speed of your mouse does not smoothly increase the speed of your cursor. The speed of your cursor will suddenly become much faster. It's annoying as all get-out, and as a gamer, this mouse is next to worthless to me.

One star is for functioning properly, the other is for the well-implemented forward/back browser buttons on the mouse.

This is an awesome mouse!.......2007-04-29

I absolutely love this mouse. My dad got it for me today at Best Buy. It looks really sleek, and it works great, too. Sure it has the scroll wheel thigie in the middle, but it even has two buttons on the side of it that move forward and backward in your internet browser. This is the replacement to moving your mouse to the back or forward button.
Another thing I like about this mouse it that it has a USB/PS/2 port. My brand new computer that I just got about two weeks ago doesn't have a PS/2 port, so I popped in the USB port. I thought that was really handy.
The cursor moved a little fast when I first plugged it in, but I got used to it. Anyways, I highly recommend this awesome mouse!

I use this mouse full time and at first it was hard to get use to the small size but now I have gotten used to it and for the most part like it. Its real advantage for me is that I do not like using the touch pad on my computer and refuse to use it. This mouse takes up such a small amount of space that makes it worth packing.

My laptop case has a place for many items and I usually store it in one of the pockets while not in use. It keeps it safe and I always know where to look for it. It also comes with its own storage bag with draw string.

My only trouble with this is that the retractable cord sometimes gets all snagged up. Or some times the cord retracts if you pull it just so. But it usually only takes a minute or two to fix but it can be frustrating. The retractable cord feature is nice if you have limited space and don't want the cord to get tangled with everyhting. I'd give it 4 and a half star rating.

Incompatible with EVERYTHING.......2007-12-19

If you're reading this review, forget about this product. I thought to myself "why pay $6-10 extra for a Logitech mouse that will do the same thing?" The reasons are twofold: foresight and customer service. Do you like Firefox? Opera? Anything besides Internet Explorer? Well then delete half of the functionality of this mouse. Sure, it will move the pointer and left-click/right-click, but the story ends there. No wheel (vert. or hor.), no clicking the wheel, and no forward/back buttons. Yes, when I heard this from their customer service representative, I too was taken aback.

Could a company sold in Best Buy really not program their mouse to be compatible with anything other than the single biggest liability of a program available today? Yes, when you don't care about quality and only the bottom line, you end up with a product like this.

Even if you only use Internet Explorer, this mouse is bad, bad news. Buy a Logitech and get English speaking technical support in addition to high quality, durability, and better looks. No, I don't work for Logitech, but I replaced my 3-year-old wired Logitech mouse with this one and now I understand why they dominate the mouse market: their products work and they last.

Don't go cheap for $16 when you'll have to replace it with another in 2 months anyways, spend a little more for quality and leave three ring circuses like this company where they belong: on the shelves, not in your house.
