Great Product at a Great Price.......2007-12-31
I have owned this product for about a month now. I purchased it just before Thanksgiving. I still haven't seen the price lower than what I got it for. Its a testament Amazon's ability to leverage a number of suppliers to offer consumers the best price.
I work from home a lot and I needed an keyboard for my home office. I also type a lot so I was beginning to feel the strain on my hands from typing on my small laptop keyboard. The spacing of the keys and the downward sloping of the keyboard was awkward at first but after about a week I really got comfortable with the keyboard. I don't get tired after a long day of typing anymore which is all I can ask for. There aren't a lot of good Ergo keyboards out there but I would recommend this one to anyone looking to upgrade from a standard keyboard.
It Types. What More Do You Need?.......2007-12-31
I needed an ergonomic keyboard for my imac. Apple's keyboard sucks (so does its mouse, by the way). I was able to buy it from Amazon for about 35% less than in the stores. Great savings.
Problems? Not exactly. Thing is, it's a windows keyboard so even though it uses a USB, none of the internet keys work with the imac, with the exception of the volume control, and that's disappointing. I'm a touch typist and I would love to be able to navigate the web from my keyboard instead of the mouse. But I can't with this keyboard and an imac.
I guess my complaint is with Apple. I think they are failing to listen to their users, specifically regarding their keyboard and their mouse. Everyone I have spoken to about the mouse says the imac mouse should have a right-click button. I agree. And they should have an internet friendly keyboard.
Anyway, this product does what I bought it to do, but looking at those dead shortcut keys all the time bums me out.

Awesome keyboard!.......2007-12-31
I have been using Microsoft Natural Ergonomic keyboards for a few years now. They keep getting better and better. This keyboard is by far the best! I am a medical transcriptionist, and I need to be comfortable to type for 8 hours every day. This keyboard definitely allows that comfort. There are so many other features that are great on this keyboard also. One feature that I personally love is the web/home key and the Mail key. These features make my mouse use decrease which is always good in my line of work. I would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone, whether you type a lot or just a little. Awesome keyboard!!!
Adequate but not as good as I hoped.......2007-12-30
I bought this keyboard with some reservation based on the comments of others re: the spacebar. I concluded that I'd get used to it if it was really as bad as claimed (and I presumed that others were being a bit dramatic about the problem).
Well, to my surprise, it does take an unexpectedly strong stroke to get a space compared to the other keys. But, yes, I have gotten used to it. The biggest issue is that there is a bit of play in the spacebar, so you have to get accustomed to pushing through that first bit, then really whacking it to get the space you wanted. (Take "whack" with a grain of salt -- it is just a keyboard key, it's not like you need to swing a hammer and hope for the best.)
I actually find the Zoom feature kind of nice. The other "extra" keys haven't gotten much use yet, but as I ramp up the keyboard's use for work -- and Excel -- I think I'll really like the extra numeric keypad keys (parens and equals).
I've been using the Microsoft ergo keyboards for at least a decade. While not a connoisseur, I am dependent on them for the comfort of my wrists. I'd say this is at least as comfortable as any of the others, perhaps a mite better.
My biggest frustration, just edging out the spacebar issue, is the fact that the keyboard simply makes a racket. I was typing on a phone call and I realized that it was literally difficult to hear my colleague over the "din" of my keystrokes. Older versions were definitely quieter.
If I had it to do over again I'd get the simpler model with fewer bells and whistles. But this one will be adequate for a few years ... I just won't be singing its praises.
Appears to be a great keyboard, but mine arrived DOA!.......2007-12-26
I wished that I could share a true review of this product. After all, I have had minor tendonitis within my wrists for the past ten years. I now work at a programming job in which my use of a keyboard computer has greatly increased. I purchased the Microsoft Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard to help ease the stress I place on my wrists using a standard non-ergonomic keyboard.
My wife purchased this keyboard for my Christmas gift this year. Unfortunately, the keyboard arrived in a non-functional state. It is brand new, and it powers up, lighting a couple of the keyboard status lights. My computer also detects the keyboard correctly. But even after waiting for fifteen minutes, the keyboard still does not function.
I rebooted my machine several times, tried the keyboard in multiple ports, and tried it on three different machines, including two machines without the Microsoft Intel type software. I also tested my keyboard on another computer whose user owns the same model of keyboard.
In all cases, the keyboard fails to function. It appears to be a failed keyboard that has never worked.
Now it will be my task to go about trying to get a refund or replacement. I hope that I can avoid costly restocking fees, as this keyboard failure is due to a manufacturing problem, and not any negligence on my part.
Maybe when I get a working keyboard of this model, I can submit a more positive review.

False and misleading - totally dissatisifed.......2007-09-22
The item was not arriving after 3 weeks. Contacted the seller asking what was happening with it and received a refund without further contact.
This seemed to be a bargain(that is to say 5 for the price of 1) and is indeed too good to be true - I really should have known better.
This is the second time that Amazon has let me down regarding misleading/false advertising. They need to review their quality control system badly and drop sellers like these.
I'd give it 0 stars and even a minus review if it were possible to do so.
Extrememly disatisfied with product and Amazon.......2007-04-02
Purchased product based on "pack of 5" description. It was not a pack of five, just one (1) OEM box with no software. Could not get them to send me the other four. No help whatsoever
Ergonomic Keyboard.......2006-07-11
Keyboard takes getting used to. If you hop to other machines with a regular keyboard, you need to adjust back to using a regular keyboard.
I believe it has minimized the pain that was starting in my wrist (reason for trying keyboard).
The only problem that I had was with order. The description said (pack of 5) but only received one keyboard in a huge box. Upon research I received numerous reponses from Amazon on what "pack of 5" was; including this item was one keyboard with five USB components (totally did not make sense to me). I was expecting to received five keyboards. When they finally confirmed the order, there were no keyboards left so I was refunded for four keyboards. Resolving the order shortage took a lot of my time. Amazon said that they would check on what "pack of 5" meant and call me back but I ended up having to call them when I did not receive a reply. Credit for items not shipped was received timely.

Great typing keyboard, but...........2006-01-19
Pros: It's the most comfortable keyboard I've ever used, and I've been typing extensively for decades. If you've never used this type of keyboard before, it will take a little time, like a week or two to get used to the placement of keyes, but I'm sure you will be enjoying it more and more every day. Soft tactile response is exceptionally pleasant. The zoom slider would be excellent, if it always worked as intended (see below).
Cons: I bought this keyboard to be sure it's compatible with my new 64-bit system. My reasoning was, if the 64-bit Windows are created by Microsoft and this keyboard is designed by Microsoft, the two must fit each other perfectly. Well, this is not exactly the case.
Apparently Microsoft was too busy to design a native 64-bit driver for their keyboards. The driver that comes with this keyboard works with both the 32 and 64-bit Windows, but functionality in the 64- bit OS is limited. You can type fine and most function keys work as intended, but you can not use the volume up/down function even with the Microsot Media Player in the 64-bit Windows, as it won't work. Also the zoom slider works fine in the MS Word and most IE browsing situations, but does not work with the 64-bit Mozilla (Deer Park version) and even in IE sometimes starts acting strange (such as suddenly becoming a scroll wheel, instead of a zoom). I guess, Microsoft shouldn't complain that many software and hardware companies ignore the 64-bit version of Windows, as they themselves keep "forgetting" about it.
Another small drawback is that the "Enter" key is a bit too small for comfort. But I got used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore.
My conclusion: This is a fantastic keyboard for anyone who types a lot. It lliterally makes typing a joy. Let's hope its functionality in Windows XP Pro x64 OS will be upgraded with a new native 64-bit driver in the near future.

Best graphics card for 2U case.......2007-10-31
The greatest adavatage of this card is its size. If you have a slim case machine like HP s3100, it is one of the few choices, and definitely the best one I can tell. But don't expect too much from its performance.
