I bought them to replace my Koss headphones which just simply make my ears and head sweat. These don't sound as good as the Koss, but they're ok, and much lighter. Have to wait until summer to find out how they handle the heat.

Ear buds and supra-aural (small) headphones are good for listening to music on the go, but you still can't beat circumaural (full-size) headphones for overall sound quality. If, like me, you've been put off by the high price of quality headphones then I suggest the JWIN JHV800 Pro Digital Open Air Headphones. They are lightweight, comfortable, the sound quality is excellent throughout the audible frequency spectrum, and at $22 they're a bargain.
I've had mine for several weeks now and I can't think of a single significant complaint. They even adjust automatically to your head, which is handy if more than one person will be using them.
They are, however, open air headphones. You'll still hear ambient sound and nearby people will hear your headphones, whether they want to or not. To completely shut off the outside world you'll want to stick with closed headphones or ear buds.
But for a quality audio experience at a bargain-basement price, the JWIN JHV800 are the way to go.
