I have high frequency hearing loss due to age (63) and this ear phone is way too much on the bass and way too little on the treble. Sound quality is too muffled for my taste. I did far better with my old cheaper round earphones.

Didn't fit perfectly, Screen cover thing is cheesy. So "grippy" that it is hard to get ipod in or out of my pockets. Don't use this anymore. Plus it is kind of expensive for what it is. Ended up just using a "naked" IPOD. works better that way.

Even if you actually manage to get the model that's meant to fit either your 30- or 60-gig 5G iPod, my guess is you'll be sorely disappointed by this thing. I'm sending mine back. It's a total waste of $20, and a total rush to market by the manufacturer. Unfortunately, the manufacturer's chosen moniker for this line of junk is "ezSkins," which means the product has to be marketed as being "easy." So the only directions you'll get are these:
"1. Place iPod into ezSkin.
"2. Its [sic] ez. You're Done."
Nope, you're not Done. You're just Had.
Your questions will be:
"How do I get my iPod into this cheap little piece of plastic? Do the side seams come apart?" (No. It goes in the window part.)
Then, "What's this white stuff around the edge of this plastic piece that I guess is the screen protector? Should I leave it on or take it off?"
Then, "How come this clear plastic button won't screw into the back so I can hang the belt clip on it? Are those messed up threads really supposed to work?"
Then, "Now that I've managed to almost screw the belt clip on and attach the iPod to it, how come it's impossible to get the belt clip off?"
And, finally, "Is the screen protector, which is shifting all over the place because it doesn't actually fit, doing more harm to my iPod than if I didn't have this supposed screen protector to begin with?"
I'd go with plan B if I were you.

I just got the 30GB Frost version in the mail. Make sure you pay attention to the model number if you decide to purchase:
EZ153FR - 30GB Frost (white)
EZ153ON - 30GB Onyx (black)
EZ156FR - 60GB Frost (white)
EZ156ON - 60GB Onyx (black)
Pros:
+ Covers the whole iPod. Cutouts for headphone jack, hold button, and dock connector. The openings aren't perfectly aligned, but good enough. Dock connector is big enough/silcone soft enough to fit the standard docking cable and Monster iCarPlay without taking off case.
+ Covers the iPod wheel with silcone. Because of the material, the wheel still responds well to your touch.
Cons:
- The cut out for the screen protector isn't perfect, so the silcone isn't quite flush with the iPod.
- The attachment point for the belt clip sticks out in the back, by perhaps 1/8 inch.
Overall, I'm happy with the case.

This case is for the 5G 60GB Ipod. It is way too large for the 30GB. This case will offer scratch protection and that is about it.
If you want a really nice, high quality case for your $300 investment go to www.vajacases.com. These custom made leather cases not only look REALLY GOOD but they offer protection from scratches and falls (in case you drop your IPod). They are made-to-order and take appox. 45 days to received once ordered. The cost...$70 well spent dollars!
Doesn't fit - fix the description.......2006-01-06
The reason this doesn't fit the 30gig is because it's made for the 60gig model. THE DESCRIPTION NEEDS TO BE CHANGED TO REFLECT THIS. There is a different model that will fit, but now I'm down extra shipping fees and time. Very dissapointed with Amazon.com.

Good, but doesn't fit perfectly, and it gathers dust like crazy.
It is useable, and does What I wanted it to do, but it doesn't look very nice because it doesn't fit quite right and all dust sticks to it.
I think it could have been much better if they had embedded a stiff piece of plastic into the "hole" through which you see the screen and in the upper corners had plastic inserts that held the skin into the corners perfectly. Then used a piece of Velcro to wrap around the bottom of the ipod and stick to the back of the unit.
The screen cover that came with this skin seemed poorly thought out to me. First of all, it wouldn't stay on very tight for my iPod because the skin wouldn't fit right to hold it.
I use a piece of plastic film to protect my ipod screen (was designed for my old palm pilot, but I just cut it to the right size and stuck it on my ipod).
HORRIBLE.......2006-05-02
This case is horrible. The screen protector it came with had a huge white spot on it and it obsructed the view of the screen. After you put the iPod through the screen hole you have to put the screen protector into place. The thing slides around and never stays in place. I just got it today and took it off my iPod immediately before it scratched the screen of my beautiful new iPod. J&R is also horrible. It came three days after the last day of the delivery window, three weeks after I ordered it. I will never order from J&R again.
Great Case, But..........2006-04-14
This case is great! It protects the whole iPod without scratching it. The wheel protector is awsome. It's touch sensitive and works perfect. It comes with everything you need to protect your iPod; screen protector, optional belt clip, optional neck lanyard, and optional armband. The only problem is that the screen protector keeps shifting around and the cutout is not approximate. I just use plastic film to protect the screen. Other than that, the case is a great one, and it's worth the money.

I suppose with every case you will risk the case itself scratching the iPod, as an earlier reviewer mentioned, but it seems that this would be less likely in this case than in a looser case where the unit will be able to slide and move around. I agree that the screen protector will probably pop out, but that isn't a concern... if you want to be truly OCD about your iPod, as I am, then leave the clear plastic sticky cover on the iPod (the one it was shipped with), cover the back with another piece of sticky film from some other product, then cover all THAT with this case. Amazingly, the clickwheel works perfectly even with the double layer, and the screen looks fine. Plus the sticky plastic film prevents this case's screen cover from scratching the unit.

When you first put it on, the thing is great, but like every other soft silicon case in existence, it will lead to the inevitable aesthetic destruction of the iPod's shiny casing. The thing is, because it fits so tightly on the iPod, dust that gets in (and dust DOES get in) can never get out, and so everytime you touch it, you're actually just scratching that dust into the face of the iPod over and over again. The result? Well, with my poor U2 edition, it was monsterous. When I decided to take the soft case off for an upgrade to a nicer one, I discovered that the ENTIRE iPod was scratched to the point where it had completely lost it's shiny finish.
Never ever ever get a skin-tight soft case for your iPod if you value it's shine and screen readability.

Ipod cover ordered was NOT what was shipped. It was an imitation and not an original EZ Skin. It did not have clip, necklace or film to cover screen. I had no informtion to return it. Needless to say, I would NEVER purchase from this seller again.
Looking for the Perfect Nano Case - and I Haven't Found It Yet.......2005-12-10
Some elastic covers, such as the Speck Skin Tight, defeat the purpose of the Nano by adding too much bulk to their case. However, the Speck Deluxe Nano cover does have a thin clip-on attachment that fits the profile of the Nano perfectly. On the other hand, Audio Outfitters' cover greatly compliments the thin, sleek features of the Nano, but the belt clip-on attachment is too big and defeats the design of the case. There is also a nice clip-on attachment called "The Shadow", made by Groove Talent Limited and is sold through some Radio Shack stores. It has an even sleeker design and attaches directly to the Nano with no cover, case, or skin included. Unfortunately it offers too little shock/scratch protection and a slippery surface that does not adhere well to shirt pockets (and does not fit Audio Outfitters' or Speck's Skin Tight cases). Why doesn't some company develop a slim, tight protective cover with a thin clip-on attachment that does not slide off easily when clipped to a shirt pocket ? Since the primary attraction of the iPod Nano is its small size it seems like an obvious concept. So far I haven't seen the product out there with all of these traits in common.
Great cover for my Nano.......2005-12-06
This case is awesome! It doesn't scratch the player and it has a plastic cover to protect the screen! It comes with a neck strap and belt clip that is top notch. The Nano swivels in the belt clip so there is almost no chance of knocking it against something resulting in damage to the clip or the Nano. There is a locking mechanizm that keeps it from popping out of the belt clip automatically. The plastic is heavy duty and holds up well. All that for $20 is a steal. I use this while jogging and it works great! The protective screen does tend to slide around sometimes, but it easily slides back in place and the protection it provides greatly out-weighs having to adjust it from time to time. All of the Nano controls work perfectly through the case. EZSkin IS the best case for the Nano, hands down. I would recommend it as an excellent gift to anyone with this player.
