You really can't expect the speaker quality to be the same as the larger speakers. The DreamGear Sound to Go Pocket-Sized Speaker System are great speakers to carry aroung if you need to listen to speakers on the go. If you are looking for better quality, you have a little more space and you don't need to grab and go I would recommend evaluating larger speakers.

after having three western digital passports fail on me, i tried this lacie drive.
i've had it for a year, and it still works great. it comes with a power sharing cable to attach to a second usb port, but i've never needed to use it.
it also contains a quality hdd (i think mine is a samsung hdd).

The Video Separator is a signal booster and splitter that is used to take video input from a single source and direct it to four video outputs for monitors using analog signals. The signal boost obtained by using the VS-134 allows you to not only split the signal but to extend the distance so that you can send the signal to about 210 feet. This is no mean feat, your average VGA card, over a standard VGA cable, sends a clear VGA signal approximately 25 feet. This makes public broadcasts from a single computer very feasible. If you want to display the same information on many monitors at once, such as in a classroom environment, or at a demonstration, this product performs incredibly well. Bandwidth is the term that is used to describe the signal capacity of these units. In general, bandwidth is directly proportional to the amount of data transmitted per unit of time. Specifically, in analog signals, bandwidth is the difference between the highest-frequency and the lowest frequency components of a given signal. For example a voice telephone signal has a bandwidth of 3000 Hz (or 3000 cycles per second), where an analog TV signal has a bandwidth of approximately 6MHz (or 6 million cycles per second) which is approximately 2000 times greater than a simple voice phone call. These units have a bandwidth of 350MHz (which is 350 million cycles per second) and that is almost 60 times greater than a simple TV signal. The Server has a small footprint, It was very easy to install. The installation instructions are easy to follow. After installation I was able to print to my printer from wired computers and wireless computers on my network.

Usually I discount negative reviews. I think people may have sour grapes against a company, or not understand how to install or work something. I somewhat tech savvy - I installed our wireless network that took a little doing. I work as a technical recruiter, so technology doesn't intimidate me. I like technology.
So I had been nudging my husband for a print server so that I could print without going to the printer and plugging in. He came home with this Belkin product and went about installing it. Usually I like to research before I purchase a product, but he wanted to handle this.
So, he installed it, and I went back and checked his work, and he had followed the instructions exactly. I know he had some trouble, and had called tech support at my suggestion - I would never have gotten the wireless router hooked up without tech support. The only problem is, that the printserver doesn't work.
So, I tried installing the software on my pc, and trying to problem solve from there. I called the tech support hotline back, and got an operator who promised to have a technician call me back in a short period of time. I waited for 2 hours, then went out to run some errands. There was still no message from a technician when I returned.
This morning my husband needed to get some work done from home. He created a document, and knowing that the print server did not work, he wired up to the printer to print that way. But now, the printer won't respond to the signal, so he can't print that way either. So we deleted the Belkin software and rebooted the computer. He still can't print.
So, I went back to my PC, and tried to delete the software through the control panel. It won't delete. I am getting an error message. I can't print either.
So now I am on hold with Belkin customer assistance. Maybe it's a coincidence but as good as the english is that the person who refers to himself as an operator is, I swear I hear a little Indian accent. That doesn't mean that customer support has been outsourced to India, and even if it is, that doesn't mean customer support is bad. But my experience with this is that while I can get a real live person on the phone, he can't do a thing to help me except promise me that someone will call back. When I tried to get my problem escalated, I overwhelmed him and he put me on hold. I am still on hold. I have been on hold for 35 minutes with no help in sight.
I called back from my cell phone, and someone who sounded so much like the first operator I spoke to said he would escalate my call to a level 2 technician, and someone would call back in 1-2 hours. When I strongly protested, asked for his name, asked for a number I could call directly, he offered to transfer me immediately, and now, I have been on hold for for an additional 10 minutes on my cell phone.
I am starting to sense a trend here. My husband - boiling over his inability to print an important document, has gone off to work to print it there. I am sitting on my sofa with phones going on in stereo, waiting to see if anyone in cyberspace is going to pick up my call.
I usually discount negative reviews, but this is really my experience with this product, and if you are considering purchasing it, I would encourage you to think that through a little further.

Works fine, easy setup for Windows using its drivers to handle network printing. I'm printing to a Samsung laser using LPR mode (supported by this printserver) from my unix box and CUPS, and from OS/X. Perfect.
Not compatible with my printer.......2006-01-15
This product was not compatible with my HP LaserJet 1000. There is no compatability list anywhere, even though it's referenced in the manual. This further reinforces my belief that Belkin products are not worth the time, money, nor effort.
