Not very good.......2007-12-24
I purchased these after reading the great reviews here about them, how they were better than Sony, etc. Well, I was totally disappointed when I got them. The sound quality is not even close to my old Sony buds and neither is the sensativity (how loud they get). They lack bass and realistic midrange. I would actually rate the iPod standard headphones better than these. I also don't care for the "noise canceling" design of these and other new buds that stick into (not onto) your ear, which I find uncomfortable and they push ear wax into your ear. My advise is to buy some Sony's like the MDR-E828LP (about $10) or similar models with the 108db sensativity (saving battery life on your portable by not needing to increase the volume so much) and their great bass with a true 12-22K frequency response and save $23. I don't recommend these at all.
Nice Buds; Lousy Chord.......2007-11-20
I purchased these ear buds based on the many positive reviews that I found on Amazon.com. The ear bud quality is as touted: above average sound and noise blocking capabilities. I work at home and the ear buds do a great job of canceling out both the ambient noise of computer typing and mouse clicks, but also the sound of the TV or people's conversations that might be taking place in the background.
My only gripe is the stupidly-designed cord which is too short and contains an integrated (non-removable) neck strap that ends up getting in the way. My rating would have been higher had the cord been better (simpler?) designed.
By far the best portable headphones I've ever owned.......2007-10-16
I am writing this review in praise of these lovely Creative headphones that I received with my Dell computer. After going through many pairs of headphones (which include the iPod headphones, Sony ear clipping ones, Philips earbuds), I am pleased to say that these are the best sounding portable headphones I've had.
The looks are deceiving. When I opened it, the plastic looked rubbery and easily breakable, but after further investigation, I was proven false. The buds go straight into the ear just outside the ear canal, making a little suction inside the ear. The noise cancelling is incredible, as no noise escapes the buds and no noise enters it. When I listen to music I can hear things I never noticed before. Despite the tiny size of the buds, I feel like I am at a concert; the sound quality is so clear.
If you are looking for affordable portable headphones that will last you a very long time, are comfortable, and sound excellent, these are highly recommended.
My default headphones for my mp3 player!!.......2007-10-15
There are certainly many choices when it comes to headphones. I tried the shipped headphones my Creative Zen came with but those left me unsatisfied. I needed another pair and thought the Sony would be great because of the many reviews, they were good until I bought the Creative headphones.
I got a great deal on the Creative EP630's so I gave them a shot. As an amature Audiophile, bass, clarity, detail, and brightness of sound are important to me.
As soon as I got them out of the box, plugged in and fired up some music, I was simply BLOWN AWAY. To each his/her own, but these delivered EXACTLY the sound I had been looking for!! Crisp, rich detail with a smooth balance across the spectrum of lows, mids and soaring highs. I am hearing subtleties and nuances in my music I never could hear, with an expansive soundstage for this price class. And all this for about a third of the cost of their competitors. These bring out details that normal ear bud headphones totally miss. They were even louder than the Sony Fontopia!!
If your looking for Ear buds (or headphones)at a reasonable price, I highly recommend the Creative EP630's!!
Bad Quality but good sound.......2007-10-14
I brought these earphones about 2 months ago. I always had a problem witht the plugs easily coming out. After a while, I started to notice it was falling apart. the external construction is horrible. The sound quality is wonderfully especially that it does cancel out external sound.
Get it if you want good and cheap headsets but I would recommend it. On another note, I didnt even use it much and it destroyed quick.
maybe if the shell was thicker and had better "glue"...lol.... it would have been perfect

Great value.......2007-12-18
I really like these headphones. They're totally comfortable and they stay in. They sound great and are priced comfortably.
Decent Sound, but too air tight! Hurts my ears..........2007-12-08
I bought these headphones, had them for only 1 day and returned them for refund.
Sound is good, nothing special though...
My main problem is once you put these in your ear they are air tight and when you pull them out of push them in it pushes and pulls on your ear drum, I find this very uncomfortable. I was using them at work and I am constantly putting them in and out when someone was talking to me or I needed to get up and do other things. I did try other sizes of ear pieces (the ones provided and even others) but when it's too loose it loses sound quality.
I much prefer the Sony MDR-EX71 headphones, they are very similar except they have small holes in the back of the ear piece which allow for ventilation, while the silicone ear piece is sealed in your ear the air can escape through the tiny holes in the back of the ear piece.
I would not recommend these headphones to anyone...
Great Sound.......2007-12-07
The sound is great and itfits very well. It's a great product for a relative low price.
Great sound, very comfortable, love 'em.......2007-12-06
A terrific product. Great sound. Very comfortable. My favorite earbud headphones.
Great for Media Players, bad for Notebooks.......2007-12-04
I got these earbuds with my brand new Dell Inspiron 1520. They came with the integrated webcam upgrade and were meant to be used while using Skype or some other video chat program. However, I soon found out that there was a tremendous amount of electric feedback/hiss that could be heard consistently while the earbuds were plugged into the laptop. As a result, I use other headphones for my laptop, but I use these earbuds for my iPod and they are AWESOME.
