I bought, exchanged, and then returned this unit. Both units delivered to me would not turn on. When I charged them using the supplied adaptor, the red charging light came on and a few hours later, the unit was supposedly fully charged. However, when I attempted to turn the unit on by pressing the power button, nothing happened. The unit never came on, could not be paired, and never worked. I returned both of them. I can understand one unit being bad, but two units that were shipped several weeks apart shouldn't be.
When I called for technical support, I waited on hold for sometime, and then gave up.

If you can't afford a real bluetooth phone or don't want to part with your non-bluetooth phone, buy this. If not, go get a real bluetooth. It works when it's real close to the headset and still gives a load of static. It also seems to get interference when you are around electrical devices. It's fine if you are gonna use it in your quiet car when you have the phone close by. I can't use it when I drive my truck which is much louder. It seems that a lot of background noise affects the device. Overall this is not a perfect permanent solution. It is a good temporary solution until you buy a bluetooth phone.

The adaptor worked fine for a week, then either this adaptor failed or the headset failed and would not work any more.

2 problems: Product impractical unless you also have a dedicated bluetooth headeset. I wanted to use the same one for my cell and landline. Not an issue with this product exactly, but an issue nonetheless.
Other problem is more serious: It wants to unpair all the time and I can't keep a connection. Sometimes they can hear me but I can't hear the other side of the call. Sometimes a call will get dropped. This was discovered too late to return product, and all packaging is already been trashed. Now sits in a drawer.
Jabra A210 works, but poor construction........2007-03-21
I was excited to see a bluetooth adapter that would work with my phone to allow me a wireless talking experience. Well, it kinda works with my phone, I have a Sanyo PM8200. I can not use Voice Dialing, but that was known before purchase, and I can also not answer a call using my Jabra headset, was not known before purchase.
Installation was easy, course it should be since I was using a Jabra headset. I just clicked on the pairing button on both devices and it connected without issue.
Use is nice as well, as it does offer a button on the device that I can press to disconnect the direct feed to the headset. It will auto disconnect after about 1 minute, but that static noise can be distracting and having the option to manually disconnect is nice.
I did not get the belt clip with this device, as it was advertised that I would, so that was disappointing. But, the velcro on the back of the phone works good enough, but would not work as well if I used a belt clip for my phone, I just put into my pocket.
The cable from the A210 is very weak. After only a week or two of use the cable has to be in the right place, can not bend to far to one side, for it to work. I'm sure I do not have long before it will just stop working and the cable will need to be twisted into a position and taped down in order to keep a connection. :(
The range is just fine, the limitation for me is with the headset I have not this device.
Pairing with multiple devices, I use my pc bluetooth and this device, works well. All I have to do is disconnect my headset from PC connection, by pressing button on headset, and this device then see's it as available and auto connects to it, very nice.
Battery life is just fine as well, but you do need to charge every night to make sure yo do not run out the next day.
Conclusion: I would suggest this device, but be careful of the cord and make sure to not bend it too far too long. I gave it a 3 out of 5 because of the cord issue and not being very compatible with my phone, can not answer calls with headset.
UPDATE !!! Well, this product finally became unusable due to bad wiring in the device. It will not even turn on now. :(

The battery life for standby operation is good (about a week). It takes up more space since it about twice as thick as the standard battery. I tried to edit this review to give 4 stars but I can't get it to change the number of stars.

I bought this switch to replace a failing 10/100 switch at home. So far, it's been a great product (in use for just about a month) though I haven't yet had a need to use the QOS or MAC restrictive features. But it's a fantastic gigabit switch!
