You've probably seen the wildly popular Motorola RAZR V3 in someone's hand before. With the quad-band GSM RAZR V3t, Motorola has made it even better. The sexy design is still here, as is the all-metal construction. This time, though, the phone boasts an updated and streamlined design, a sexy spun-metal finish, enhanced video capture and playback capabilities, a 1.3-megapixel camera, and a hot-swappable MicroSD memory card slot.
A sexy new spun-metal finish graces the RAZR V3t.

Design
At .6 inches thick, the RAZR V3t is virtually the same thickness as the original RAZR. And like the original RAZR, the phone's design takes the standard clamshell form factor to the next level with an impressive, fully-anodized aluminum construction. A large 176 x 220 color display with 262,000 colors dominates the inside of the top cover. The outside cover of the handset sports a supplementary 96 x 80 full-color display that can display caller ID pictures, time, call information, battery and signal strength, and more. The 1.3-megapixel camera lens is housed above this display. Up/down buttons are placed on the left side for volume control.
Most of the phone's features and on-screen menus are controlled by a five-way center button on the handset's backlit control pad, which is precision cut from a single sheet of nickel-plated copper alloy. A mini-USB port is provided, which, while useful for fast data transfer, can also be used with compatible USB stereo headsets. Note that the phone does not have a standard 2.5mm headset jack, but the phone's enhanced mini-USB connector supports compatible stereo headsets.
Calling Features
The RAZR V3t's internal phone book can hold up to 1000 contacts while the phone's picture ID system allows you to assign pictures to your most common callers. The phone also supports polyphonic ringtones as well as MP3 ringers, allowing you to use portions of your favorite songs to alert you to incoming calls. A number of ringtones come preloaded on the phone and more ringtones can be downloaded from T-Mobile's t-Zones service.
The phone features support for myFaves.

For times when you want to be discreet, there's a vibrating alert. A built-in speakerphone makes it easy to talk without having the phone to your ear while voice activated dialing makes calling your friends, family and associates as easy as saying their names. Speaker-independent technology allows any speaker to dial numbers with the voice dialing system. And because the RAZR V3t is Bluetooth enabled, wireless headsets can be configured with the phone for total handsfree operation.
Like to keep in touch without worrying about minutes or overages? The V3t is fully compatible with T-Mobile's myFaves service, which allows you to call up to five of your most common contacts--on any network--without using any of your minutes. Learn more about myFaves.
Messaging, Internet, and Tools
The RAZR V3t is a messaging and wireless Internet powerhouse. Support is built in for sending and receiving pictures, text, graphics, sound and video via messages. When used in combination with the phone's built-in still and video camera, MMS opens up a whole new world of messaging fun (T-Mobile messaging charges apply). There's also a built-in web browser for t-zones downloads and mobile web browsing. T-Mobile's t-Zones service lets you receive and send emails, read news headlines, get weather updates, download games and ringtones, and more. If you need email on the go, the V3t comes with an email client that supports IMAP, POP3, and SMTP email standards. iTap text entry, which is a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit--a plus for mobile email and text messaging users.
A number of handy software tools are bundled with the RAZR V3t including a calculator with currency converter, a calendar, and an alarm clock. The phone can also be used with Motorola's Mobile Phone Tools PC application to manage and synchronize contacts, calendar and other data with your PC.
Imaging and Entertainment
The RAZR V3t's 1.3-megapixel camera bridges the gap between phones and quality digital cameras. The digital zoom-enabled camera is also designed to capture video. You can even print your shots on a Bluetooth-enabled printer. Embedded animated screensavers and full screen wallpapers are built-in so you can set up the RAZR V3t to suit your tastes. The phone supports games, as well as gaming connectivity via Bluetooth.
The RAZR V3t is a serious music phone; its next-gen phone status aside, the V3t stands alone as a great digital music player. And because the V3t sports a swappable memory card slot, you can bring all of your favorite music with you.
Boasting support for the Java 2.0 format, The V3t will let you enjoy most of the latest cell phone games, anywhere you go. The phone comes stock with preloaded games, and more games can be downloaded from T-Mobile's t-Zones service. The V3t also sports an airplane mode feature, which allows the user to safely use the non-wireless functions of a phone (such as music, games or organizer functions) on an airplane during flight.

Customer Reviews:
Best Razr phone at an affordable price by Motorola and T-mobile!.......2007-10-02
Razr v3t is an excellent, sleek, thin and lightweight mid-range cell phone at an affordable price from T-mobile. I got two of these phones free with Bluetooth headsets from t-mobile with a family plan. This razr phone has a very nice black finish as compared to its predeseccor v3. It also has bluetooth 1.2, a digital music player and 1.23 megapixel integrated camera.
You can also upgrade its default 128MB, removable microsd memory card, upto 1-2GB microsd. Believe me, the Digital music player on this device is incredible and the sound quality is at par with any music player like iPod shuffle or nano. I am using this razr as my second iPod, with 400-500 songs on my 1GB Sandisk microsd card.
You can also buy a motorola Stereo Headset Adaptor (model# SYN1504, just for $3-$4) to convert the output from MiniUSB to ordinary 3.5mm, to connect it to any device/headset and listen to songs from it. I have connected it to my sony car adaptor as well and now I can listen to songs from it in my car.
The data cable connectivity with PC is very simple and easy to use. No need to install any software. You can aslo sync in this player in Windows Media player but its a little bit tricky. Also it can only play itunes ACC and Mp3 format. No support for WMA files, but you can always convert them to Mp3. Only supports Mp3s upto 192kbps bitrate.
Bluetooth headset connectivity is also very simple and flawless. My Bluetrek headset instantly get detected by this razr. So no issues with BT.
Much better then the older model Razr V3.......2007-09-19
I got this phone because the one I wanted (which I reviewed) had a music player, and I could not get the songs into the phone. This is a terrible phone for music, but I had already invested in so many Razr batteries and rechargers, I had to go with a Razr to protect my investment.
Because the Razr v3 developed a recharge problem, and I kept buying more items to try and fix it. It was shutting down every three minutes. This updated Razr works great. Sound volume is much better then the old Razr. The battery life is still short. The blue tooth really stays connected most of the time. You don't have to reboot this phone as much. If you put a song on the phone, the play back is not in the blue tooth. You disconnect the blue tooth to play back the song, and the sound quality is so bad, you will wish you never even bothered to put music on it. I don't need a music phone or a camera. I have a zune player and a camera separately. I never use the camera on this phone, and I don't use it to go on line. I use it for the function of being a phone, and for that it works great. I wish they had phone without a camera or a music player, unless they can make good quality music players and cameras inside a phone. Do not buy the Razr V3, even if you can get it greatly reduced or free.
A real good one.......2007-08-08
Goods: Great quality, great reception, great looks, great usability.
Bads: It gets scratches easily. Fingure prints make it ugly sometimes.
Phone works great.......2007-07-31
Sound and range is excellent. Menus are pretty good. Battery life could be better.. I think opening and closing it uses alot of battery power.. Also, the internet.. Hey.. At least you can buy another one as backup unlike some phones :)
v3t review.......2007-07-26
This phone is hard to get the hang of if you've never had a Razr. This phone is neither logiacally sensible to manuver around in or does it take good pictures or have any sort of good recording capabilities except for it fairs ok with the video camera. I would find this phone easier to use if it had an in general "back" or "exit" button to take you back to the previous screen. it has amazing capabilities. But everything you would use this new expandaable memory for is a waste...mp3 player is a little cumbersome to work with, but it is still good enough for you to not give up on it.. You have to convert your files to mp3, and some people are not familiar with the process on how to do that. The camera should at least be 2megapixel for all of this new memory capabilities. I have not tried to transfer any media from a digital camera to this phone yet, and am unaware of how this will fully work. I have found that you can pretty much alter your pictures you take with this phone in a photo shop any way you want, and save them back to the phone. I would'nt mind the phone having another slot for a micro card. All in all, I do enjoy this phone. It is horrible at sending quick picture messages with sounds..Just to let you know what my basis is from, I used to have a Blackberry and a Samsung t309. The t309 would record sound for a very long time, and pictures were easy to send with sound. The Blackberry is a much too different phone to try and compare other than easy manuvering (logicy easy to use) I wouldn't pay full price for the phone, but it is a good phone.
