DOES NOT WORK FOR REGION 2 DVDs.......2007-11-03

WATCH OUT !!!!! This ASTAR DVD player does not work if you play region 2. The image is syncopated all the time and there is no way to fix this. Region 1 DVDs work fine like in any other regular DVD player but Region 2 would not work properly. I used several region 2 dvds and they worked the same way: with a syncopated image and of course with a syncopated sound.
Definately NOT worth it!!!!!

The Astar 3100 is an excellent choice to view your PAL format dvds!!!!! All I did was open the package and plug in the cables to my TV and WAH-LAH! i was watching my PAL format dvds literally in minutes.
