I bought this DVD player about a year ago. I find that it does freeze on rare occassion (only when you first put the dvd in) but when I stop and restart the dvd it will play fine. It seems to freeze if the DVD is turned on with the DVD in it before you have it on the correct channel to play dvds on your TV. But I think that for the money it is a good buy and I have had no other problems with this DVD player, and I think that the freezing is very minimal.

we purchased this dvd player a year ago and have not been pleased since we first began using it. it freezes on the majority of our dvd's, both rentals and new, and now it refuses to play any dvd's or cd's at all. we are looking for a new dvd player and in looking at other reviews it seems that a variety of dvd players and all brands are subject to these problems. i hate to think this is the way of the future. videos seem so much easier to use.

Works well for my application.......2007-12-29
I bought this headset for use indoors at work. I didn't want to pay a ton of money for a professional headset for my Cisco IP phone so I bought an adapter from Radio Shack that allows you to use a cell phone headset and then I got this. It's comfortable to wear and I am a big fan of the over the ear headset as opposed to the traditional headband kind. I'm not on the phone all day though, I only use it for longer calls where I want my hands free and conference calls. One thing it took me a couple days to figure out: you don't actually want the tip of the voice tube in front of your mouth. It's designed like other shorter headsets to pick up from behind the corner of your mouth. The first couple times I used it, people said I sounded far away, but after I switched to the shorter voice tube it works perfectly. A quality piece of work from plantronics.

I got tired of my wife and several friends tell me they had a hard time hearing me over some previous bluetooth headsets. Because that is caused from the bluetooth using "voice activated" technology it always cuts off the first word as you start to speak. So I went back to a wired headset since it is always on. I only use it for when I'm in the car since that is when I need it most. I get in the car, plug it in and I'm ready to go.
This is a very nice wired headset. It fits comfortably on the ear with a swivel speaker to adjust the position in your ear. It has a nice volume knob on it as well, along with a mute button(which I haven't tried yet)You can raise the volume very high as well. I have had to turn down the volume a few times. It has two extension mics to suit where you like it positioned. I'm very happy with it. And if I lose it like my last two bluetooths it isn't as big a hit to the wallet.
Great product but can't use with hansfree/voice activated dialing.......2007-08-31
If you have a phone that supports handsfree/voice activated dialing then don't get this particular model. It doesn't allow for you to dial without grabbing the phone physically.The model you would want is the Plantronics MX510-X1. I returned this unit only because I wanted the entire handsfree aspect. It is very comfortable and sound quality was great.The description is misleading for this particular model.
