This is an absolute piece of junk. I would score it with MINUS stars if I could. I purchased one for my wife for Christmas, 2006 and shortly afterwards, it stopped working. My wife sent it in for repair at our expense, and it has already stopped working again. To add insult to injury, Audiovox now insists that we pay for repairs, and this is only April.
I will NEVER buy an Audiovox product again.

Good picture but bad sound!.......2007-01-22
This DVD player has good picture quality and a large screen but the sound is not so good. I had it turned up full blast on an airplane trip and still could barely hear the sound. It just does not get loud enough! The battery life is short and you cannot watch a video and charge the battery at the same time. I would recommend a different brand if you are going to spend the money on a portable DVD player.

When I got this I didn't have much faith in a 9 dollar battery, but when I got it and gave it a run through...and it worked flawlessly, just like a Samsung labeled battery would work....

This battery worked fine for a few months. Then it's charge time started to dwindle. Before long, I was back to the unacceptable amount of charge time I had with my standard battery, just a few hours.
I tried to contact BargainCell to see if they would replace the battery and I did not get a response. Bad customer service!
I found that you can buy the same "Made In China" battery on eBay for much less, so if I'm going to have to buy one every 4-6 months, I might as well get them as inexpensively as possible.
