Progressive scanning, referred to as 480p for the number of horizontal lines that compose the video image, creates a picture using twice the scan lines of a conventional DVD picture, giving you higher resolution and sharper images while eliminating nearly all motion artifacts.
For simpler setups, a single composite-video jack channels signals from both the DVD player and the VCR, while the DVD player also offers an S-video connection for compatible TVs. Likewise, the DVD player and VCR share a single set of stereo analog (left/right) RCA audio outs, with DVD offering the flexibility of an additional set of stereo analog jacks and a coaxial digital-audio output for routing both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround-sound signals to a full-featured audio/video receiver.
This model's 4-head design ensures smooth slow-motion play (forward and reverse) and clear still-frame images, and with hi-fi sound the unit's VCR records and plays back stereo audio tracks. If you route the stereo output to an AV receiver, you can even enjoy 4-channel (left, center, right, and monaural surround) Dolby Pro Logic mixes from TV and Dolby-encoded cassettes. Other VCR features include auto rewind, auto repeat (great for trade shows), and auto/manual tracking adjustments.
Rapid Play spins a DVD at slightly faster or slightly slower than normal speed (approximately 1.3x to 0.8x normal speed) while maintaining normal pitch for the soundtrack. This feature works only with Dolby Digital-encoded DVDs. Resume play (DVD/CD) lets you resume playback from the point at which the player last stopped.

in bright sunlight. It attaches easily and for that, I give it two stars. Otherwise, the lcd improvement is marginal at best. I think that the Nikon 4300 lcd is just not bright enough. Save your money and get used to the underframing of the optical viewfinder.

works very well in sunlight, enables you to see lcd screen without it being washed out. easy to attach & remove. only 1 gripe (minor): it attaches over the viewfinder so you can't use it to focus.

This Notebook Storage Cart stores and charges up to 24 notebook computers in individual compartments and provides room on the top shelf for a work surface or for use with printers or wireless devices. The entire unit is welded together and ships ready to use. There is an UL-Listed version as well as a non-UL listed version of the welded cart. The UL cart includes a timer which fits inside the back of the cart and is accessible by cut outs in the lower back of the cart and shorter electrical unit cords. All versions include two UL-Listed, 14-outlet electrical units which can be installed inside the front or rear of the cart, specify location by model number. Top shelf comes with a non-slip rubber mat and features two grommet holes at the back for cord management and access to electrical units. Doors, rear and side panels are perforated to allow the ventilation of equipment when charging. Two of the cart's casters are fixed and the other two swivel and lock. UL-listed cart always comes with 5" casters while the non-UL version comes with either 5" or 8" rubber casters.
